There was a time in my life when I couldn’t wait to stop having a monthly menstrual cycle. I thought once that was over, never again would I have to pause my daily exercise regimen. I imagined I would just go seamlessly through each month working-out with daily consistency. Little did I know that by the time I reached this stage in my life my passion for hard-core exercise would have shifted? One thing I know for sure is everything changes, and I am acknowledging that my gusto has been tempered by time. In spite of that, I am very inspired by a new exercise regimen that is the perfect fit for this phase of my life. It’s called the Daily Burn . What I love about this fitness program is its versatility, effectiveness and the fact that I can exercise in the comfort of my home.

Going to a gym on a regular basis has always been a difficult commitment for me to keep.  It becomes a chore just getting to the gym, changing clothes, etc. When I have had a gym membership I would go for a while, but inevitably I would find myself longing to exercise outside once the summer rolled around and preferring to work out at home during the winter months.A dear friend referred me to the Daily Burn, which I am truly enjoying. What I like most about this program is that I don’t have to leave my house to have an effective workout.  Another perk of this program is that there are so many options for different types of exercise and for varying exercise levels.  Consequently, you are able to design a workout that best suits you.  Each session targets a different part of the body, giving the other parts of your body time to recover.  You don’t know what to expect, which keeps it exciting. When setting up your profile you will have the option to choose between beginners, intermediate, or advanced.  You also have the choice of aerobic, toning, sculpting or a combination of these options. They also offer stretch, all types of dance, and yoga classes.  I must admit that after my first two sessions, I had to have a nice, hot bath and soak with Epsom Salt the next day.  That to me is a good thing, much better than the pain of lethargy.Best of all, these workouts are only 30 minutes long; this is what I love most. Since it’s only 30 minutes, I feel I don’t have an excuse for not fitting it into my schedule.  Another aspect of this program that I enjoy is throughout each exercise session, posted on the screen is a graphic showing the time span left for each movement as well as the remaining time of your 30-minute session.  At the end of each workout, there is a quick questionnaire to make sure that particular exercise class is what you expected and if it suited you.  This way the program tailors the exercise classes in your queue.  As long as you have access to the Internet, you can take the Daily Burn with you wherever you go.  Since it wouldn't be practical to travel with weights when traveling take along your exercise bands for resistance training.Truth be told, I workout with the Daily Burn every other day. I alternate days between the Daily Burn and my own personal yoga practice.  I use the exercises of the Daily Burn to burn calories, strengthen and tone.  My yoga practice is a must because it keeps me flexible in mind and body, calms and centers me.If you’re looking for the convenience of exercising at home and having a quick, exciting and effective workout, I highly recommend the Daily Burn.  The cost is nominal and the first month is free.  Shucks, I feel like, after this blog post, they should be paying me.  Just so you know, they are not paying me. This post is just my desire to promote healthy lifestyle choices.  If you join, please drop me a note, send me an email and share with me your experience.  [/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
