A young boy walking along the beach, came across an odd looking rock that was found to be worth approximately $65,000.00. I have mentioned ambergris on this blog before. It is the upchuck of the Sperm whale. It is a costly ingredient that is cherished and used by natural perfumers. And until you've had the pleasure of taking a whiff, you cannot imagine how sweet and lovely it smells. Rest assured, it doesn't come out smelling that way.
This waxy substance has to lay out on the ocean for years and become hard as a rock, as it is cooked by the sun, to transform itself into the beautifully fragrant raw material that perfumers seek. So I ask again if you were walking along a beach and came across this rock, would you recognize it as the treasure it is?My Sea Scape perfume is tinged with ambergris tincture, and it brings in that note of sweetness. Here are a few reviews of Sea Scape from stellar perfume reviewers.
I designed Sea Scape to be reminiscent of the sea. It has the sweetness of the jasmine, the funkiness of seaweed and the magic of ambergris. As a true lover of the sea, I love the way Sea Scape helps me to feel like I am near the beach any time of the year. In these autumn days of 2012 it has been quite humid, warm and balmy and for me the perfect time to wear this fragrance. Please take the time to smell Sea Scape when you visit our salon, or if you can't stop by please order a sample online. Have a beautifully fragrant day.
